Hello Dr. Coleman:

I miss your column and the helpful interaction with posters. I was also wondering why there are no new posts. Either my post yesterday was completely rejected, or I may have stumbled upon a glitch with this forum. I submitted a post that was immediately sent to archive. It also stated that it was number 684. I think that it may have something to do with my title. My title was, "adult children who steal."  I believe that it was glitched to Archive because of wording similarities. Is that why the postings have declined?  I have noticed that the archived postings have increased, but I don't see new postings.

Hi all,
Sorry that the blog/forum is difficult to navigate. I’m currently in the process of having the whole website re-done and one of the goals will be to make the site much more user-friendly. I’m hoping this will be done by Christmas.
I also plan to begin offering a weekly teleconference in the new year. This will allow members to talk to me directly and to each other on a conference line. There will be a monthly fee for the teleconference but it will be far less than my individual hourly rates in order to provide a more direct way of giving feedback and also to provide a way for parents to have more direct contact with each other, something that many of you have expressed a desire to have. Please send me an email if this might be of interest to you.
Finally, I am going to make an effort to respond to more of your questions to me here: my only request is that if you have a direction question for me, please restrict your post to three or four sentences. I know that the details matter, and that dealing with the estrangement of an adult child is one of the most confusing, painful, and complicated things that anyone can go though. It’s just that I won’t be able to respond to as many posts if they’re long so would rather err on that side. Hope you understand.
