Postpartum Depression

Kelly Willenberg is the President of the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club. She suffered from postpartum depression after her twins were born. “I had terrible PPD, but I didn’t seek treatment. The most shocking thing for me was that I resented the babies and didn’t want them to be around. It was an utter feeling of hopelessness, I cried constantly, and couldn’t sleep. I wouldn’t get out of my pajamas for days at a time. It lasted for seven months like that. I really let myself get to a bad point. I told my doctor and he said I was just exhausted.” Read More »
